…and staying in the KLCC vicinity, check out this restaurant on the top floor of the KLCC shopping mall.
Little Penang Kafe really offers simple, delicous food that’s worth its price. Of course, you can always walk out to the hawker stalls along Bukit Bintang or take a cab to Jalan Alor and you would pay half the price there. If though, you are looking for convenience, enjoy an escape from the sorching heat and humidity that’s common in Malaysia and do some shopping while at it, this is a good restaurant for lunch or dinner.
Try out their prawn mee with lots of added sambal belacan (chilli shrimp paste) and the char kway teow (flat noodles stir-fried with seafood; chill optional).
Go early for lunch if you can, they don’t really take reservations well and there’s always a long queue from the office crowd on weekdays.
